AIEEE | JEE | IIT JEE


AIEEE Notification 2013:
Now AIEEE is known as JEE (Main) and JEE (Main) will be an eligibility test for JEE(Advanced). This is conducted by JEE Apex Board. This is the entrance exam for BE/B.Tech, B.Arch , B.Planning courses in All India level institutions NIT, IIIT, DTU, Delhi and other centrally funded technical institutions .  
Type of Examination:
The exam will be conducted in both offline and online. The details given below
Paper- I conducted in both offline and online modes and
Paper –II conducted only in offline
Candidate have chance to select exam mode in paper-I only.
Paper- I for BE/B.Tech
Paper- II for B.Arch /B.Planning
Exam Pattern:
Joint entrance examination has two papers, paper-I and Paper-II. The exam pattern is based on the candidate’s selection on which course they are seeking admission.
Syllabus:
Paper- I: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Paper- II: Mathematics, Aptitude Test, Drawing Test
Eligibility:
-12th or its equivalent is minimum qualification
-For BE/B.Tech Mathematics and Physics are compulsory subjects in qualified course. Chemistry, Bio- technology, Computer Science, Biology is optional.
-For B.Arch and B.Planning Mathematics and 50% aggregate marks in 12th are compulsory.
-  Born on or after October 1st week 1988 and 5years relaxation is provided to SC, St and PWD candidates (October 1st week 1983)
Only 1, 50,000 of the top rankers in JEE (main), which includes candidates from all categories (general, OBC, SC and ST) will be eligible to appear JEE (Advance) or IIT-JEE.     


Important dates Related to JEE-2013:
Offline exam:
07-04-2013 – Paper- I- 9:30Am to 12:30PM
07-04-2013 Paper- II- 2:00PM to 5:00PM
Online exam:
During 08-04-2013 and 25-04-2013 for Paper-I
The Exact slots/dates for online exam is based on the candidates selection through online mode during Feb. 1st to Feb. 15th.
