Law Common Entrance Test (LCET)- 2013:

Law Common Entrance Test (LCET)-2013 notification was released by Government of Andhra Pradesh,
For admission into 3-years 5-years Law corses and Post Graduation Law Common Entrance Test (PGLCET-2013)for admission into LL.M Courses offered by State Universities in A.P.including their affiliated collages for the academic year 2013-2014, This admission test will be conducted by Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) - Tirupati.

If any candidates apply for dual courses, 3 years LAW and 5 years LAW courses that applications will be rejected. Candidates should apply for only one course 3 years or 5 years

3 YEARS LAWCET-2013:        06-06-2013 (Thursday, 10:00AM to 11:30AM)

5 YEARS LAWCET-2013:        06-06-2013 (Thursdat, 10:00AM to 11:30AM)

PGLCET-2013                           06-06-2013 (Thursday, 2:30PM to 4:00PM)

Instructions of Entrance Test:

For 3 years LLB/B.L:
The candidates who applied for 3 years LL.B/B.L should have passed any Graduate degree (10+2+3) from recognized university with 45% aggregate marks, or any equivalent from recognized university

Age Limit:
30 years age limit for general category, reliable five years for SCs/STs, on 31st December of the seeking year admissions.

For 5 years LL.B/B.L:

The candidates who applied for 5 years LL.B/B.L should have passed two years Intermediate Examination (10+2) with 45% aggregate marks or any other equivalent by Board of Intermediate.

Age Limit:
20 years age limit for general category, reliable two years for SCs/STs, on 31st December
of the seeking year admissions.

Time schedule for both 3 years and 5 years:

08-03-2013 - date of commencement of sale of application forms.
24-04-2013- last date for receipt of online application forms without late fee 

Applications available at post offices, Andhra Banks and E-seva centers”
.
Late fee is to be paid by D.D, drawn in favor of the AP secretary, state council of Higher Education, Hyderabad.

Syllabus for Entrance test:

PART-A: General Knowledge & mental ability, 30 questions carrying 30 marks
PART-B:  current affairs, 30 marks
PART-C:  Aptitude for the study of law, 30 marks
Ø  Total 120 questions having 120 marks, Test Duration 90 minutes
