RBI cut the interest rate on Marginal Standing Facility (MSF) by 50 points (From 9.50% to 9%). The MRF is 9% now. (MRF is the rate at which banks borrow funds over night from RBI against approved government securities).

RBI, The Central Bank of India on 29th October hiked Repo Rate by 25 basis points from 7.50% to 7.75% and reduced the MSF by 25 basis points from 9% to 8.75%.
RBI lowered its expected GDP growth of this fiscal year to 5% from 5.5%.
