TANCET 2014 NOTIFICATION:The State government of Tamil Nadu has announced TANCET 2014 notification. The full form of TANCET is Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test. TANCET is conducted by Anna University, Chennai on behalf of the government of Tamil Nadu. TANCET is for the candidates who want admission into M.C.A, M.B.A, M.E, M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Plan degrees for the academic year 2014-2015 in the Tamil Nadu universities and government and government aided colleges in Tamil Nadu.

Tamil Nadu state government invites all the eligible candidates to apply for TANCET 2014 through online. The candidates who want admission into degree programs can apply for TANCET. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA TO APPEAR FOR TANCET 2014

The eligibility qualifications for admission into M.B.A degree is,

The candidate should have passed minimum of three years degree with minimum of 50 % marks or 45 % marks for reserved categories in the qualifying degree examination.

1. The candidate should have passed SSC+INTER+3 year degree (or)
2. The candidate should have passed B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Pharm. /B.Arch. (or)
3. The candidate should have passed SSC+3 YEARS diploma AMIE (or)
4. The candidate should have passed SSC+INTER+AMIE.

The eligibility qualifications for admission into M.C.A degree is,

The candidate should have passed minimum of three years degree with mathematics with minimum of 50 % marks or 45 % marks for reserved categories in the qualifying degree examination.

1. The candidate should have passed SSC+INTER+3(0r)4 years degree(or)
2. The candidate should have passed SSC+3 YEARS diploma+ 3 years degree (or)
3. The candidate should have passed SSC+3 YEARS diploma+ AMIE (or)
4. The candidate should have passed SSC+INTER+AMIE.

The eligibility qualifications for admission into M.C.A (lateral entry) degree is,

The candidate should have passed minimum of three years in B.C.A, B.Sc (computer science or information technology) with mathematics with minimum of 50 % marks or 45 % marks for reserved categories.

The eligibility qualifications for admission into ME/M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan

The candidate should have passed minimum of three years degree or equivalent degree with minimum of 50 % marks or 45 % marks for reserved categories in the qualifying degree examination.

1. The candidate should have passed B.E/B.Arch/B.Tech degree programme. (or)
2. The candidate should have passed B.Pharm/B.Sc(Agri. / Forestry / Horticulture / Fishery) degree programme. (or)
3. The candidate should have passed masters degree in the relevant branch of science/arts  (or)
4. The candidate should have passed M.Sc(5 years ) integrated degree programme. (or)
5. The candidate should have passed B.Sc. 3 years (Computer Science / Information Technology) and M.Sc. 2 years (Computer Science / Information Technology. (or)
6. The candidate should have passed M.C.A or M.C.A(lateral entry)
