West Bengal SSC Recruitment Notification 2014:  West Bengal Staff Selection Commission- WBSSC has announced the recruitment notification for the posts of sub inspectors in the sub ordinate Food & Supplies Service Grade 3.WBSSC invites all the eligible candidates to fill up 1131 sub inspector posts in the state of West Bengal. The selected candidates will place in the various regional and district offices of West Bengal. This test is conducted by WBSSC.

Eligibility Criteria to appear for WBSSC Recruitment:

Educational Qualification for WBSSC:

The Candidates should have Passed Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent qualification.

The Candidates should able to read, write and speak in Bengali/Nepali.

The Candidates who possess strong health and who able to go tours in rural areas of West Bengal are eligible to apply.

WBSSC Age Limit:

The Candidates age should be between 18 to 40 years to apply for the sub inspector job in West Bengal.

Age relaxation will be applicable for reserved categories.

For West Bengal SC/ ST candidates - 5 Years

For BC-A, BC-B candidates of West Bengal- 3 years

WBSSC Application Fee:

The Application fee for General and OBC candidates is 200/- + Processing fee 20/-

The Application fee for remaining candidates (SC,ST and person with disabilities)is only processing fee 20/-

WBSSC Selection Procedure:

The Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test and followed by personality test conducted by West Bengal Staff Selection Commission.

WBSSC  Exam Pattern: This is an objective type test with 150 questions. The duration of the test is 1 ½ hour. There will be negative mark of 0.25 per wrong answer for Arithmetic and 0.125 for General Studies.
