Eligibility Criteria for Central Silk Board Bangalore:

Educational Qualifications:

Ø  The Candidates who are applying for Scientist-B post must possess Master's degree in Science or Agricultural Science

Ø  The Candidate should belongs to Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in Textile for Scientist-B (Reeling & Spinning)

Ø  The Candidate should have passed M.Sc in Computer Science for Computer Programmer.

Ø  The candidates should have passed Bachelor’s degree in Textiles for Inspector (Silk),

Ø  The candidates should have passed Master's degree in Hindi for Junior Translator (Hindi)

Ø  The candidate should have passed Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineering or Diploma in Electrical Engineering for Senior Mechanic (Cold Storage & Electrical).

Ø  Refer to the notification for Post wise qualification.

Age Limit:

Ø  The Candidates age should be 35 years for the posts of Scientist-B and Scientist-B (Reeling & Spinning)

Ø  The Candidates age should be 30 years for the posts of Computer Programmer,Inspector (Silk), Junior Translator (Hindi),Senior Mechanic (Cold Storage & Electrical),Assistant (Technical), Assistant, Statistical Assistant

Ø  The Candidates age should be 27 years for the posts of  Senior Mechanic (Cold Storage & Electrical)

Ø  The Candidates age should be 25 years for the posts of Upper Division Clerk, Junior Stenographer (Hindi), Assistant, Lower Division Clerk.

Ø  Age relaxation will be applicable for reserved categories.

Selection Procedure:

The candidates will be selected based on the performance in the Interview.
