posts of Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants posts for the Tamil Nadu Circle.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational
Qualification:
The candidates should have passed intermediate or 10+2
standard from recognized university with English as a subject.
The candidates should have studied in Tamil language in
matriculation level or its equivalent.
Age Limit:
The candidate’s age should be between 18 to 27 years
Age relaxation will be applicable for reserved categories.

Application Fee:
The cost of application fee is 100/- for all category
candidates who are going to register.
The examination fee is 400/- for male candidates of OBC and
general category.
There is no examination fee for remaining category
candidates i.e. for women’s, for SC , ST, pwd categories.

This test is an aptitude test consists of four parts with 100 questions. Duration
of the test is 2 hours.
General Knowledge (25
marks): Questions on current events, sports, history, geography, basic
economics, general politics, Indian Constitution, Science environment etc
Mathematics(25 marks):
Mathematics of matriculation standard which may cover number system,
simplification, decimals, corrections, simple and compound interest,
percentage, average, profit
and loss, discount, menstruation, Time & work and
time & distance etc.
English (25 marks):
English covering grammar (prepositions, adverbs, conjunction, direct/indirect
speech, singular & plural, tenses, antonyms/synonyms etc.
