APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2014:
Assam public service Commission has released recruitment notification of APSC
Combined Competitive Examination 2014 for 226 posts on 03 April 14. This APSC
Combined Competitive Examination 2014 is for the recruitment of Assam Civil
Service (Jr.Grade), Assam Police Service (Jr.Grade), Labor Officer,
Superintendent of Taxes, Superintendent of Excise, District Transport Officer,
Inspector of Labor, Inspector of Taxes. APSC invites applications for APSC
Combined Competitive Examination 2014 from all eligible and interested candidates.
All the eligible candidates can start applying in online mode only. The
starting date for applying online applications for this APSC Combined
Competitive Examination 2014 is 10th April 2014. The last date for
this APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2014 is 10th May 2014.
The Assam Public Service Commission came into existence on

Eligibility Criteria to apply for APSC
Combined Competitive Examination 2014:
Educational Qualification:
Applicants should have passed their Matriculation/HSLC/Degree
from any recognized board or institute.
Age Limit:
The candidate’s
age should be between 21 to 38 years. Age relaxation will be applicable for the
reserved candidates.
5 years age
relaxation is for SC/ST candidates and also for the candidates with disability.

General/OBC
category applicants need to pay Rs 50/- as application fee.

Selection Procedure
The candidates
will be selected on the basis of written examination and Personal Interview.
Examination pattern:
The APSC
Combined Competitive Examination 2014 consists of two successive stages:
The Preliminary
Examination and Main Examination (Written and Interview).
The Preliminary
Examination will consist of two papers of objective type multiple choice
questions of two hours duration each.
