WLC (Western Coalfields Limited) is one of the eight subsidiary company of coal India limited, contributing about 8.19% of the national coal production, the company come in to existence on 1st November 1975.
Western Coalfields Limited invited applications to fill up the vacancies of post, Mining Sirdar/ shot Firer, T&S Grade-C and Surveyor (Mining) T&S Grade- B.

Total No. of posts: 242 (215+27)

Age Limit:
Minimum 18 years to maximum 30 years for General candidates, relaxble 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates as on 01-02-2013.

Education Qualification:

For Mining Sirdar post:
(a)    Mining Sirdar certificate of competency issued by DGMS or 1. Diploma in mining & mines surveying and 2. over man  Competency certificate issued by DGMS
(b)    Valid gas testing Certificate issued by DGMS
(c)    Valid first aid certificate
For Surveyor (Mining) post:
1.       (a). Matriculation (b). Surveyors Certification of competency issued by DGMS. or
2.       (a). Diploma in  Mining and mine surveying, and (b) Surveyors certificate of competency issued by DGMS.
