Insurance Institute Of India has announced notification for the suitable candidates for the posts of Professor and Assistant professor in the areas of Insurance. Insurance Institute of India invites all the interested candidates who have proven record of research and publication. And also very good academic background with up to date knowledge in the relevant field.

About Insurance Institute of India:

Insurance Institute of India was established in 1955 and engaged in Insurance Education for professional certification. Institute conducts training and development programs for Insurance Professionals through "College of Insurance”.

Eligibility Criteria for Professor/Associate Professor

1. The Candidates should have passed Masters Degree with minimum of 55% and also should have completed Ph.D Must comply with the necessary eligibility to criteria as prescribed by University of Mumbai to become a “Research Guide”.
2. The Candidate should have completed Ph.D in the area of Social Science.  The Candidate should have the complete knowledge of Research Methodology.
3. The Candidate Should be conversant with all quantitative and statistical tools and modality needed for research. 
4.  All qualifications must be from UGC recognized University/Deemed University or AICTE approved autonomous institution (wherever applicable). The courses offered by autonomous institutions should be equivalent to the relevant course approved/recognized by Association of Indian University (AIU).

 Experience:

1.        The Candidates should have the experience in Research, Teaching, Training or as executive of research company.
2.        The Candidates already working in similar research centers or organizations and having insurance experience will be preferred.

Age Limit:     

•         Candidate should be more than 45 years but not exceeding 57 years as on 1st April, 2013.

   Pay Scale:

1.   37400 to 67000+10,000 grade pay for Associate Professor
2.  37400 to 67000+11,000 grade pay for Professor

Selection Process:

Selected Candidates will be called for the interview.
